Infusion for Heros armor - Guild Wars Forums

I was just wondering If you do the Irons Mines mission with heros does their armor get permently infused like yours does.

Yep, no worries about running a billion infusion runs to get them all infused.

Did the Seer run, got infused, Hero armor does not say it is infused. Sorry best i can tell ya.

its already infused, i ran iron mines and dunderhead.

Yes, it is already infused but it is just missing the "infused" text in your inventory screen...

enchanted i think its been confirmed enough but i guess you are the facts kinda guy..so go out and test uit yourself do ice caves of sorrows mission and bonus and see for youself

Testing means go fight mursaats and see if they're infused or not, not looking for a missing line

lol you're just not getting it are you? or have you neevr played Prophocies before? If the heros weren't infused you couldn't have done the bonus of ice caves of sorrow without much much much difficulty. So if you have DONE the mission and bonus like i said you wouldn't be here saying that how do i know my heros are infused or not? or is it maybe that you didnt read my post clearly? i said go out and do the mission AND bonus....

I don't know if their armor comes infused or simply holds infusion, but they definitely stay infused. Here's how I know. I did the Iron Mines mission with some heroes, ran up to the Seer and brought her the spectral poo and let her rub some home my armor *shrug*

Then I took those same heroes out into Ice Floe. Click the numbers by their name and their skill/status bars show up on the screen. Go after some Mursies. Watch the heroes' status bars. Before long, at least one of them will get the Mursie skill, Spectral Agony, on himself. Look at his health bar. If he wasn't infused, he'd have like -18 degen (yeah, I know, not quite that much,) but if he is all infused, he'd have like -3 (without any other degen/regen effects on him.) All three heroes I was using never had more than -3 when playing with the Murs in Ice Floe.

In fact, those three heroes were on my new(ish) monk. She was working through Prophecies when NF came out. I got her heroes and she used them and henchies to finish Ch 1 from Amnoon to Hell's. Spectral Agony was never much of a problem.

I haven't tested in the last few days to say for sure it didn't get broken in a recent update, but the heroes' armor definitely did start out infused or at least infusable.

PS - none of their armor ever said "Infused" before or after talking to the Seer. Heroes just aren't leet like us I suppose.

An alliance member asked me this question last night, so I took my heroes to Ice Cave of Sorrow and sent them to the Mursaat near the beginning of the mission. Only 3 arrows of degen and they whooped the mursaat. I never took them for an "infusion run".
